I used to speak one language only, but now I am used to learning English, so I am getting used to understanding more people than I did 6 months ago.
Nowadays, knowledge of English language is really important, especially if you want to get a good job, I guess. Lots of people every day go abroad to study English, and there are the most popular places like Australia, UK, Canada, America and others. I know from my experience that learning another new language is hard work. Sometimes it is really imbarrassed, or it can be funny. Anyway, it is worth it, and when you get it at all, you will be proud of yourself. It is a good challenge. You just need some time to get through learning. It can be difficult or easy, but, I think, it is good experience.
So, don't be abraid to make you goals higher, because if you believe in youself, you can do it, and never listen to anyone that you can't achieve something. Everyone can! Just do it.
