Anna Chiara - My friend Mary

I used to see Mary every day, but last month she moved to Canada, so I'm getting used to talking to her on Skype. She used to live in my street, just round the corner. She arrived in my town when I was 5 years old, and soon we became friends. We spent many afternoons together, playing volleyball, listening to music or just chatting. Every morning we met to catch the bus to school, and we were also in the same year, we were very good friends. She told me her parents had decided to move to Canada for work last month, and I was really really sad. We spent one evening thinking about a way to keep in touch, and we decided the best one was using Skype. So the following day we went to the shopping center, and we bought two webcams. We installed the program and we learnt how to use it. Then she left, but we always use Skype, so I can talk to her and see her. I really must thank Skype for this!

  1. I like your article, Anna. It is very familiar to me. I moved to Perth 6 months ago, and Skype has become the best way to keep in touch with my friends. It is really sad when your friend is leaving you, I agree. Anyway, the most important thing about friendship is supporting each other in any situation, and it doesn't matter how far you are from each other, you will find a way to be together anyhow.
    Take it easy. Anastasiya:)
