Technology is improving from day to day, but schools' teaching method is not catching up. Through the use of advanced technology, teaching and learning could be quite different. Especially the internet, it is the network that everybody needs in their everyday life, and also in the business industry. Using internet access during class can interest students to learn. For example, like what I am doing in class, we use a blog to do our essays instead of writting it on a piece of paper and handing it up to our teachers. This is fun, because I can read other students' essays and leave a comment based on what they've written. So blogs can improve our writting and reading. Other than blogs, we can also have access to various kinds of grammar websites, such as http://englishgrammarsecrets.com/. Grammar websites are better than giving students a piece of  paper to do it as homework, and you can also correct what you did straight away from the website. Apart from internet, iPhone can also help students to learn. iPhone has various kinds of application than can improve your learning or makes learning easier.

Seems like summer is around the corner, and everybody is wondering what to do when it comes. I have an idea of what to do filling up your free times during summer. I came over an advertisement about an amazing event called Stereosonic, it is held on Sunday, Nov 27. There will also be a lot of artist attend the festival, such as, Alfrojack, LMFAO, and Benny Benassi. The ticket cost from $129.95 to $260.00 (including $2.00 of booking fee), but there's a way to get the tickets for free. Leo---Something You Can Do to Saving Money In Perth

We are overseas students, we need to pay for tuition and some different fees for studying and spending money in different places for living in Perth. How could we save money while we have a quality life? It is really an important problem we should think about.

We have some big parts in our life, it will need us to paying for.

First one, rent. As we know, homestay is really expensive when we study abroad. Students move out after 18 or when they find a share house. In fact, share houses are the best way to save rent. How do we find a good share house? We can check the information on websites like http://www.gumtree.com.au/. This website has lots of information about everything, of course including the rent information. We can find some nice houses which are near your school or really easy to get to your school, and also, it is much cheaper than homestay. But a good household is important, careful about those information on the Internet, maybe it is fake, they just want your money.

Second, food. This is the most inportant spending in our general life. Doing the cooking by yourself will much cheaper than have meals in restaurants. Perth;s restaurant always are over price, eating home is the best choice. You can do cooking with your friends who live in the same share house, you can eat everything if you can cook it. Then, buy some high quality and inexpensive food also can help you saving money. On Friday afternoon, Saturday afternoon, Sunday afternoon, there will be a very cheap market which selling vagetables and some fruits in Subiaco. If it is possible, go there on Friday afternoon, that time the vagetables are the fresh and good. Also, there is a market will open on Saturday morning, it is located in Canning Vale, meat, fish, vagetables, both good and cheap. But this is far from Perth City, so may be you need a car, and you need get up early in the morning, one last thing, in Canning Vale, buy more, save more. So invit your friends go with you, save money together.

Third, transpotation. This is we need to pay when we go for school or go to some nice places. Go to buy a student SmartRider is a good choice. It is much cheaper than others, but you may need a letter from your school to prove you are a student.

Huyen,Mai,Leo - Travelling around WA

We will show you some places to visit in WA.There is Rottnest Island, Penguin Island, Pinnacles, Fremantle, Cottesloe and Pinnacles.
Rottnest island is one of the most famous places in Australia. There are some Quokkas which are small and similar to rats. They are cute but you shouldn't touch them because they are dirty. The views are absolutely beautiful. You can hire a bicycle and ride around the island, yet there are a lot of hills, so it makes you exhausted. Be careful about snakes on the beaches. It costs around $100 including bicycle hire. You can catch a ferry to get there at Barrack St Jetty near the bell tower or Fremantle Jetty.
Penguin island is in Rockingham. You can go there by train at platform 2, it takes around 30 minutes. It costs about $30 for a return ticket.If you want to see sealions, you should spend more than $30 so you can walk to the island without the ferry because the sea isn't deep. I recommend you bring your own food and water, for it is very expensive there.
Fremantle and Cottesloe are the most famous and visited places in WA because many tourists go to Fremantle to buy souvenirs and to eat fish and chips. I'd recommend you go to Cicerellos where there is the most popular fish and chips. If you want to swim or surf, you should go to Cottesloe because it is absolutely superb and you can't miss the sunset.
The Pinnacles are about 280 kilometers north of Perth.When you go there, it looks like spikes coming out of the earth! You can have a picnic with your friends there, even you can drive inside all of those pinnacles, that is amazing, don't miss this place. One day trip for this place is the better. In fact, in summer, you can suffing there, but other times, nothing very interesting around those pinnacles, there is a small town, you can't see many people even in noon, and the food there is expensive. And the tickets to go inside the pinnacles is really cheap, 11 dollars for a car. Even though it is far to go there, it is worth it.

Huyen - Girls Generation, SNSD

"Girls Generation" is a popular girl group in South Korea.There are nine members in the group. They were born in 1989 and 1990.The group has become well-known after their song "Gee" was released. That is a very famous song in Asia.The group is called with another name, which is "SNSD", the acronym of the group's Korean name So-Nyeo Shi-Dae.Their first record  was released on August 5,2007. Do you know what they look like? They are tall, beautiful girls and they are called "girls with long legs". They are good at singing and dancing, and especially, they can speak Chinese, Japanese and English.The members have had various activities as actresses, acting in various video clips and solo singers for drama soundtracks. My favorite song is "Genie" but there are some other good songs too such as " Gee", "Kissing you" and "Run Devil Run". I usually find information about them on the internet. One day, I would like to go to their concert in Korea or VietNam. If you want to hear some of their music, have a listen on YouTube!

Mai - Aqua Pazza Recipe!

Here is a recipe for one of my favourite dishes - Aqua Pazza!

Firstly, I will show you how to cut the fish. It depends on the kind of fish and it is very difficult to cut them, even Japanese people. You need many practice to do it well. Now, I will describe how to cut snapper.

1.Prepare for fish on the chopping board.

2.Remove the scale from tail to head with a blade knife.

3.Cut out all gills, head and tail and then insert the knife into the inside and remove the internal organs and wash the fish well.

4.Cut and slide along the bone and turn the fish over and  repeat above steps.

Do you think can you do that? It seems to be easy, but I described this very briefly. If you are a beginner, it will take more than 30minites.
I would recommend you to buy cooked fish. It is much better!


Now, I will show how to make aqua pazza with this fish.

1.Prepare some tomatos, shellfish and chopped garlic.
2.Heat and put oil in the pan and cook fish on the middle heat.
3.Put the chopped garlic, some tomatoes and white wine in the pan.
4.Warm it up for five minutes.
5.If it doesn't taste good enough, put salt and papper.
6.Garnish it with parsley.
