Orani - Imaginative Story by US

It's raining hard, so most of us got wet. I didn't have an umbrella, so I went in to the shop in the city, and bought one, but it didn't work well, so I had to buy a jacket, for they looked warmer.
When I arrived here I found only four students. I was so happy, for they were punctual, and we started to practise grammar, so we would improve our English while the others won't improve. Maybe some of them would come in the break, for the weather was bad.

At the moment, my brain is not working properly, and I will go back to bed, for I need relaxation and my warm blanket, so I'm going to catch a bus, and go home!!! When I get home I will drink a cup of hot chocolate, or just sleep. Maybe I should just wait in my bed until the weather is better, and until everything is fine! I always think that the life is not easy-going, but there're many options to enjoy life!!

In my dream, perfect life is waking up in the sun from a window, and win a lotto then go travel around the world, but I think that will never happen, it will always be a dream. Maybe I have to move somwhere else, for I want to change my life and face new exciting experience , yet I don't have money to do that, nor do I work hard, so I have to find a new job to earn more money. Therefore I have to do some candidacies and have to hope to get the job, then my "dream-life" will become true. On the other hand, I think that living in an easy-life is much better than a busy-life, so I may move to live in a farm and have a small and warm family there.

.....Whatever happens, I will enjoy my life. :D

Hayden~my new class

Lets me confess to tell you about my feelings in the new class. I'm delighted I can came to this level, because I can meet a lot of different friends from different countries such as Brazil, Russia, Thailand, Japan and many more. Besides that, I can also learn many different things from the different level such as new vocabulary, grammar tenses, and others.
In fact, I have met lots of new friends who come from different countries in this new class but, there are also many friends I have met in my last level. They were Anatasiya, Caroline,  Paulo and others.
Moreover, our class teacher Josh is a good teacher who comes from Italy. He's very funny and everyday he looks very happy. Our teacher makes us more interested in study and awake and we also feel comfortable in this class .

Anastasiya - Pretend job

I would like to tell you about my job, my pretend job actually. I am an architect. I like my job, because I love to create new things. I have been working in this career for about two years, and I have done many things. But, there are many things which I haven't done.

I consider that being an architect is hard work, yet you can get good money. Actually, not everyone can be an architect, and I am so proud of myself. I think for this profession you have to have special skills and abilities. So, I can say that I am doing a good job. I have a lot of experience in this career, so it helps me to have a lot of clients.

Now I am working at a huge project. I am going to plan an important building in the city of Perth. But, despite that, I am thinking of becoming a designer. I am going to do that, for I think it is another interesting art job . So, I am hoping to achieve all my goals in my future.

Christina - Pretend Job

“Pretend you have a job like the ones you chose today, e.g. a doctor, an architect... Write a paragraph about things which you have done in your career, the things you haven't done yet, and the things you would like to do.”

I have been a teacher for 5 years now. Many children have learned how to write and the other stuff you can learn in primary school from me. I've also had some excursions with the children. We had lots of fun but there were also some children who cried because of getting homesick. But I don't know if I should continue to be a teacher or if I should become a designer because of all the pretty colours you can work with, the quillings, all the glitter and these things. I think it would be great to see how just some material would became a dress or something. Nevertheless I think I should stay as a teacher, due to all the sweet children and the progress they are making over the year. Thus I must go on to sew at home and moreover I can teach art in school and can also be creative in school.

Luz - My dream Job

My dream job is to become a designer.I have made lost of patterns for children, women and babies.I have also made wedding dresses, but I haven't worked in a big company. I have always sewed for my family and my friends. Once I had worked in a wedding dresses shop before I could buy my own machines.

I have always wanted to study design, but I haven't done it yetI feel very excited when I can go to sewing machine shops, or dress exhibitions and I like going to embroidery classes.

I would like to design beautiful dresses for famous people and I would like to appear in magazines as a famous designer. I would like to travel and to participe with models in fashion shows in Milan, Paris and London too.

I would like to help my niece with my experience . She has been studying Industrial Design for six months, so I am very happy.

Josh - In the beginning...

Right now, I can hear my students tapping away at their keyboards. They are writing their first items for our new class blog! I got the idea for a class blog from another teacher at PICE, Marlon. He is using one in his level 2 class, and says that it is working well. You can see that blog by clicking here. I hope it will be good for us, because I think that there are many possibilities for learning. Most of my students seem to be qutie savvy about new technology, so I look forward to seeing how this blog can help them.
